The Lovely Bones

Based on Alice Sebold's bestselling book, The lovely bones. It is a story told from heaven... by a young girl, who died of being murdered by her neighbor.

If it wasn't for my friend, who read this book, I don't think I will have to catch a dvd copy of this movie. Duh. I read the synopsis... Screw it, it led me to boredom.

Man, from a flashed card it's way beyond how I have perceived it. It's amaaaazing. The visuals rooted from a mind structured by brilliance and artistry. It is a transformation of words... into a scenic motion picture full of poignancy. Err... it has the earmarks of Robin Williams', What Dreams May come.

Decide to roll this movie, but you must prepare yourself for a battle against grief and fear. Tragic, it is. Its brutality isn't physical... what's more of a torture is having to experience an intense emotional suffocation and a gradual mind torture. I am a mother, I cannot say how I exactly felt after seeing the film. Inside, I crumpled like a burning paper and wept like the inner pain's gonna stay through eternity.

Dare to watch again? No way.
